Biographical Information
Dr. Ferrell-Swann graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree from Washington and Lee University in 1993. She then attended the University of Georgia where she obtained a Master's in Education with a focus on Educational and Counseling Psychology in 1994. Dr. Ferrell-Swann obtained her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology through the University of Missouri and completed a pre-doctoral internship at the Medical College of Georgia/VA Hospital Consortium in Augusta, Georgia. She completed a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in a private practice setting in Atlanta. After becoming licensed in the state of Georgia in 2000, she continues to work in a private practice setting.
Dr. Ferrell-Swann is a Fellow of the Georgia Psychological Association, where she previously served on the Membership and Annual Meeting Committees. She is also a member of the International Dyslexia Association and CHADD, a support organization for children and adults with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder.
Dr. Ferrell-Swann is married and has two sons and one amazing dog.
